CP began looking at the world from a business perspective from a very young age and has been self-employed since he was 15 years old.
He launched Germany's largest student newspaper well before the advent of the digital era and achieved circulation figures of 350,000 per month at its peak. He recognised the great potential shown by young people and what they would go on to achieve. This led him to found Germany's foremost agency for interaction with young target groups in the 1990s. The great interest shown in the YOU trade fair laid the foundation for Carsten's first agency: Q.ONE.
Carsten has grown both as a person and an entrepreneur as a result of his work on Q.ONE. Over time, what had been an agency for youth marketing evolved into a digital agency with a focus on loyalty programmes.
In 2018 the entrepreneur Ludwig Fresenius came up with the idea of developing a universal shopping basket compatible with all online shops. In turn, Q.ONE became Q.TWO. Carsten and his team have managed to take loyalty programmes to the next level with Q.TWO. The company has counted Payback, Miles & More and Deutsche Bahn among its satisfied customers and partners for many years.
Carsten decided to combine his expertise and passion in 2021 and founded a holding company. This venture includes entrepreneurial activities, teaching as a lecturer and other projects in which he is involved. However, the undertaking also involves real estate and political involvement in the business forum of the Free Democratic Party’s parliamentary group.
